518 Film Network

Vice President of the Board

518 Film Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education, growth, and connection of filmmakers in the Capital Region. Created in 2020 by director-producer Michelle Polacinski and writer-director Micah Khan, the network has been a resource for many in the creation and screening of their films. In the fall of 2023 I was voted Vice President of the Board, ushering the next phase of the network.

Catalyst for Change Leadership Program

2023 Cohort Member

The Catalyst for Change Leadership program, hosted by The Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region, is a 10-week certificate program designed to develop professionals of color within the nonprofit organizational sector. After completing the program, participants are connected to local nonprofits looking for new board to change the state of diversity and inclusion in the nonprofit sector. Upon completion of the program I was able to apply my knowledge to the 518 Film Network and become a leading board member.
